Search RapidShare and Megaupload files easy and fast. Over 5 millions files stored in database.
It seems like Rapidshare and Megaupload are the world’s largest file-hosting sites with
millions of files stored on their servers. The question is, how can you search through all the files uploaded to services such as these and others? In this post i want to show you some of the best ways to search through the Rapidshares and Megauploads of the world.
1. FilesTube.com - This resource might be my favorite of all the file hosting search options out there. All you need to do is type in what you are looking for, select the file type from the drop down box, and you are taken to tons of results. The sort by size feature also helps a lot in sorting the bigger files from the smaller ones.
2. Rapidshare1.com - Not as pretty as FilesTube.com, but it does get the job done when it comes to searching for a file or document from Rapidshare.com. Just wish they had a bit more description per result. They do link you to both the page the link came from and the actual Rapidshare download link.
3. FilesBot.com - Promising to be a “file storage search engine” it does a good job at filtering out the bad stuff while still delivering pretty good results. Type what you are looking for in the search box, and then find the links. Simple user interface.
4. Shareminer.com - This site uses the long and customized Google search string to search though and try to find what you want. Not as successful as the other two options, because since this Google search string has been in the wild a while it looks as if people have found a way to spam it.
5. MegaDownload.net - The last one on my list today features a pretty interface and does a better job than most at making the search for information readable.
6. JUSearch (Avun) - From what I have heard from people, this site is the best in terms of number of results shown for each term.
7. Rapidoogle - The site’s name says it all, It shows the basic search results just like Google.
8. Gappon - This site has a web2.0 search interference, the search are better than most search engines. It can search more hosting sites including MegaUpload.
9. Filez - This site has 1514427+ files indexed so far. Warning: There are porn adult tags everywhere on the homepage.
10. RapidLibarary - This site has everything inlcuded, from movies to books, it also displays the last 200 searches on their homepage.
11. RapidAll - This is the best site if you want to search for movies. It shows great results, including HD and DVD rips.
12. RapidFox - This is a simple site for searching basic files on RapidShare.
13. SearchShared - This site is simple and clean interference, it searches almost 50 sites for the content you are looking for.

Instead of complex google operation for searching inside Rapidshare these search engines will surely make the job easier for you. If you know any other good sites that are not in my list, i would like to hear your suggestions.
